Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

The Optibelt Omega 4578-14M-115 is a 14M timing belt with a 14mm pitch, a 4578mm pitch length, 327 teeth and a width of 115mm. It’s made by Optibelt, our premier brand.
Optibelt Omega timing belts have a fibreglass tension cord, a polychloroprene body and a special tooth fabric that raises efficiency and power. They resist high temperatures, transmit power steadily in heat and cold, and are maintenance-free once correctly tensioned. They suit synchronous power and positioning drives.
It runs on standard HTD and RPP pulleys in the 14M profile, so no special pulleys are needed.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked 4578-14M-115 (or 4578 14M 115). 4578 is the pitch length in mm, 14M the profile and 115 the width in mm.
- If the marking has worn off, count the teeth: this belt has 327. Multiply by 14mm to get the pitch length.
