Hexagonal belts
Hexagonal belts, also called double-V belts, have a V-profile on both faces, so one belt can drive pulleys from either side and turn them in opposite directions on serpentine drives. Choose a section, or search by the code on your old belt.
Choosing the right hexagonal belt
Three things to check before ordering a hexagonal belt.
- Check both facesA hexagonal belt has a V on both sides and looks six-sided end-on. A standard belt is only V-shaped underneath.
- Standard pulleysAA, BB and CC belts run in standard A, B and C section grooves on both faces.
- Part numbers helpOn combines, balers and other farm machinery, the machine’s part number is often the quickest way to the right belt.
AA section
Runs in standard A section pulleys.
BB section
Runs in standard B section pulleys.
CC section
Runs in standard C section pulleys.
