Optibelt Optimat belting comes pre-punched and sold by the metre, in 10, 13 and 17mm profiles to suit Z, A and B section pulleys. It’s the answer for maintenance stores, emergency repairs and drives where fitting an endless belt would mean stripping down the machine. Choosing Optimat belting
Pick the profile10mm runs in Z/SPZ pulleys, 13mm in A/SPA and 17mm in B/SPB. Match the width of the old belt or the pulley groove.
Red or green?Red is rated to +100°C for hot-running drives. Green is the standard version, rated to +80°C, for most general drives.
Then add connectorsEach belt needs one plate connector in the same profile. They fit both red and green belting.
Tip: no punching tools are needed. The belting is pre-punched, so you cut it on a hole and fit the connector by hand.

How much do I need?Measure round the pulleys with a tape, or measure the old belt, and order that many metres, rounding up.

Don’t forget connectorsYou need one Optimat connector for every belt you make up. Keep a spare with your stock.
