Imperial timing belt pulleys
Toothed pulleys for imperial XL, L, H and XH timing belts, from Dunlop / Optibelt. Choose a section, or search by the pulley code, such as 18H100F (1210).
Choosing the right imperial timing pulley
Three things decide which timing pulley you need: the belt section, the number of teeth and the width.
- Reading the code18H100F (1210) is 18 teeth, H section, for a 1″ (100) wide belt, flanged (F), taking a 1210 taper lock bush. (PB) means pilot bore.
- Imperial or metric?XL and L are close to metric 5mm and 10mm pitches but won’t mesh with them. Match the pulley to the code on the belt.
- Teeth and ratioThe tooth count sets the pulley size and the speed ratio. Count the teeth on the old pulley and keep the same count to keep the same speed.
