Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

HP-S5M-625-30 Bando HP-STS Super Torque Timing Belt
A Bando HP-STS Super Torque timing belt in the S5M profile: 5mm pitch, 625mm pitch length, 125 teeth and 30mm wide. HP-STS is Bando’s high-performance version of its Super Torque (STS) belt, made for drives that need more power from the same space.
Bando rates HP-STS at around 1.4 to 1.8 times the power transmission of a standard STS belt. That means you can carry more load at the same width, or use a narrower belt for a more compact, quieter drive. It uses a fibreglass tension cord for dimensional stability and flexibility, a hard chloroprene rubber that resists tooth deformation, and a low-friction tooth facing that keeps noise down. The rounded S-profile teeth mesh smoothly with the pulleys, and it runs on standard S5M pulleys.

Questions
How do I check it’s the right belt?
The old belt should be marked HP-S5M-625-30 (or 625 S5M 30). Check the width as well as the length: this is the 30mm wide version.
Will it fit my pulleys?
It needs S5M pulleys (also called STD or STPD). S-profile belts look similar to HTD (5M) belts but the teeth are a different shape, so check the pulleys are S5M.
Can I upgrade from a standard STS belt?
Yes. HP-STS runs on the same S5M pulleys as a standard Super Torque belt of the same size, and carries more load.
How quickly will it arrive?
