Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

This is a 1108 taper lock bush with a 11/16" bore (17.5mm, imperial) and an imperial keyway to BS 46. It fits any pulley, sprocket, coupling or hub made for a 1108 bush.
Taper lock bushes lock a component to its shaft without machining: the bush comes ready-bored and keywayed, and as you tighten the set screws the taper closes onto the shaft. It’s supplied with its set screws.
