Ribbed belts
Ribbed belts, also called poly-V or multi-rib belts, combine the grip of a V-belt with the flexibility of a flat belt, so they run quietly round small pulleys at high speed. Choose a section, then the number of ribs, or search by the code on your old belt, such as 6PK1200.

- PL section4.70mm rib pitch
- PM section9.40mm rib pitch
Cut to your size: ribbed belts are cut to the number of ribs you need. Cut-to-order belts are made specially for you, so they can’t be returned unless faulty. Check the section, rib count and length before ordering, or call us to confirm.
Which section is my belt?
Measure the width of the belt and divide it by the number of ribs. The answer, the rib pitch, tells you the section. For example, a belt 21.4mm wide with 6 ribs has a rib pitch of 3.56mm, so it’s a 6PK.
