V & Wedge Belts

V & wedge belts

Classical, cogged, wedge, banded and specialist V-belts in every standard section, for motors, pumps, fans, compressors and machinery of all kinds. Choose a belt type, then the section, or search by the code on your old belt.

From Optibelt, our premier brand: Red Power maintenance-free wedge belts and Super XE-Power high-performance cogged belts for drives that need the very best.

Classical V-belts

The original industrial V-belt, for motors, pumps, compressors, fans and older machinery.

Cogged classical

Notched underside for small pulleys, cooler running and better grip. A direct upgrade on the smooth equivalent.

Wedge belts

Narrow, deep-profile belts that transmit more power in less space. The standard on modern industrial drives and fans.

Cogged wedge belts

Cogged versions of wedge belts for smaller pulleys, higher speeds and lower running costs.

American narrow

Imperial narrow wedge belts, found on American-built equipment such as HVAC units and cooling towers.

Maintenance free

Wedge belts that hold their tension, so there’s no re-tensioning after fitting. Ideal for hard-to-reach drives.

Banded belts

Belts joined across the top so they can’t turn over or jump off on heavy, shock-loaded drives.

Hexagonal belts

Double-sided belts that drive from both faces, for serpentine drives on agricultural and specialist machinery.

Garden & light duty

Light-duty and heavy-duty garden belts for lawn mowers, tractors and outdoor power equipment.

Low profile & back bend

Thinner belts built for reverse-bend drives, especially on agricultural machinery.

Variable speed

Wide belts that run on adjustable pulleys, for drives where the speed needs to change.

PU V-belts

Polyurethane V-belts for light conveying and positioning, available in plain and Scrum profiles.
