PU V-belts
Polyurethane V-belts with a 60° wide angle profile transmit high power in small spaces with smooth, quiet running and very low vibration. Choose single-rib Optibelt WR belts or multi-rib Scrum belts, or search by the code on your old belt, such as 7M-560.
Choosing the right PU V-belt
Three things to check before ordering a polyurethane V-belt.
- Wide angle pulleys onlyThese belts have a 60° profile and need matching wide angle pulleys. They won’t run in standard V-belt pulleys.
- Single or multi-rib?Optibelt WR belts are single wide angle belts. Scrum belts join several ribs, so count the ribs on the old belt.
- Reading the codeWR codes give the section and length, such as 7M-560. Scrum codes add the rib count, such as 3-5MS-600.
