Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

The Optibelt Vario Power 1015-2X500 is a made-to-order variable-speed belt for any top width from 10 to 15mm and belt height from 8 to 9mm, at 500mm long. It’s made by Optibelt, our premier brand.
Optibelt Vario Power belts are raw-edge, moulded-cog belts for infinitely variable speed drives. A polychloroprene rubber body with transverse reinforcing fibres keeps the belt rigid across its width while staying flexible lengthways, and a low-stretch polyester or aramid cord handles high dynamic loads. The result is strong power transmission and precise speed control on drill presses, lathes, mixers, conveyors and agricultural machinery.
