This is a Bando replacement CVT drive belt for Vespa scooters and mopeds, replacing OE part numbers 843963 and 1A009598. It’s made by Bando, the Japanese belt maker that supplies original-equipment belts to scooter and motorcycle manufacturers, as a raw-edge cogged variator belt built for the heat, grip and constant ratio changes of an automatic CVT transmission.

No. It’s a Bando replacement made to the original specification. It carries Bando’s markings rather than the vehicle maker’s part number.
How do I check it’s the right belt?
Check your make, model, engine size and year against the table, or find the OE part number in your parts book or on the old belt. Variator belts often change between model years, so the year matters.
When should I replace it?
Check the belt at every service. Replace it if it’s cracked, glazed, frayed or worn narrow, or if the scooter feels sluggish pulling away or the engine revs without the speed picking up.
