Two groove aluminium V-belt pulleys for drives that run a pair of belts, to share the load and transmit more power. They’re a lightweight alternative to cast iron, at roughly a third of the weight, so they suit motors, fans, blowers and light machinery. We stock them for SPZ, SPA and SPB wedge belts. Finding the right aluminium pulley
Reading the codeSPA 100/2 is an SPA section pulley, size 100, with 2 grooves. The section must match your belts.
Which belts fit?Use SPZ, SPA or SPB wedge belts to suit the pulley section. Cogged XPZ, XPA and XPB belts fit the same grooves.
Only one belt?For single belt drives, see 1 groove aluminium pulleys, or all aluminium pulleys.
Aluminium or cast iron? Aluminium is lighter and resists corrosion, so it’s ideal for small and medium drives. For heavy-duty drives or a taper lock fitting, choose SPZ, SPA or SPB taper lock cast iron pulleys.
