Choosing a maintenance-free belt
Maintenance-free belts use the same sizes as standard belts, so the code on your old belt is all you need.
- No re-tensioningOnce fitted and tensioned correctly, the belts hold their tension, saving labour and downtime on hard-to-reach drives.
- Same pulleys and sizesRed Power belts fit the same pulleys and use the same codes as standard SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC, 3V, 5V and 8V belts.
- Fit it rightCheck the pulleys for wear, align them accurately and tension the belts to Optibelt’s recommended value using a tension gauge.
