Variable speed belts
Variable speed belts are wide V-belts that run on variator pulleys, where the flanges move in and out to change the speed of the drive. Choose a range, or search by the code on your old belt.
Choosing the right variable speed belt
Variable speed belts must match the drive exactly, so check three things.
- Three measurementsTop width, side angle and length must all match the drive. The code on the old belt gives all three.
- Machine specificVariator belts are often specific to the machine, so the make and model help us match them.
- Never a standard beltA standard V-belt is too narrow for variator pulleys and will give the wrong speed range and wear quickly.
