Tip: Harrier Autodrive mowers often use two variator belts. Check the number on your old belt, or in your mower’s parts list, and replace both if they’re worn.
Finding the right Hayter belt
Find your model codeLook for the plate or sticker on the deck or handle. It shows the model code, such as 491E, and the serial number.
Find the part numberHayter’s parts list for your model code gives the belt’s part number. It’s sometimes printed on the old belt too.

Questions about Hayter belts
Are these genuine Hayter parts?
No. They’re replacement belts made by Optibelt, Megadyne or Bando to the same specification as the original Hayter belts. They carry the belt maker’s markings, not the Hayter part number.
Which belt does my Harrier 48 need?
It depends on the model code. Autodrive VS models from 490D to 496F use 111-0771, and most 490 to 496 models use 411025 as well. Check the table above or call us with your model code.
Does my mower use more than one belt?
Many Hayter mowers do, especially Harrier Autodrive models with two variator belts. Check the part number before ordering.
