Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

The Optibelt Omega 310-2M-6 is a 2M timing belt with a 2mm pitch, a 310mm pitch length, 155 teeth and a width of 6mm. It’s made by Optibelt, our premier brand.
Optibelt Omega timing belts have a fibreglass tension cord, a polychloroprene body and a special tooth fabric that raises efficiency and power. They resist high temperatures, transmit power steadily in heat and cold, and are maintenance-free once correctly tensioned. They suit synchronous power and positioning drives.
It runs on standard HTD and RPP pulleys in the 2M profile, so no special pulleys are needed.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked 310-2M-6 (or 310 2M 6). 310 is the pitch length in mm, 2M the profile and 6 the width in mm.
- If the marking has worn off, count the teeth: this belt has 155. Multiply by 2mm to get the pitch length.
