Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

3VX450 / 1143 Optibelt Super XE-Power Pro V-Belt
The Optibelt Super XE-Power Pro 3VX450 is a 3VX section cogged raw-edge narrow V-belt, 9.5mm wide with a 45″ (1143mm) effective length. It fits American narrow 3V section pulleys and is made by Optibelt, our premier brand.
Super XE-Power Pro is one of Optibelt’s highest-performing belts. The moulded cogs and raw-edge sides let it run on very small pulleys, at high speeds and in extreme temperatures, with excellent grip and efficiency. It’s maintenance free and made to Optibelt’s M=S standard, so belts of the same size can be used together as a set without measuring and matching.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked 3VX450. The letters are the section and the number is the effective length in tenths of an inch, so 3VX450 is 45″. Measure 9.5mm across the top and 8mm deep.
- A 3VX belt can replace a wrapped 3V450 belt of the same length. 3V belts are an American standard and aren’t interchangeable with metric SPZ or SPB belts, even though the widths are close.
