Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

1250 DH 30mm Megadyne Isoran Double-Sided Timing Belt
The Megadyne Isoran 1250 DH 30mm is a double-sided H-pitch imperial timing belt with a 12.7mm tooth pitch, a 125″ (3175mm) pitch length, 250 teeth on each side and a width of 30mm.
With teeth on both sides it can drive pulleys from either face, so one belt can turn shafts in opposite directions on serpentine and multi-shaft drives.
Megadyne Isoran imperial timing belts are made of polychloroprene rubber with a fibreglass tension cord and nylon fabric on the teeth. They’re maintenance-free, keep exact timing with no slip, and run from −25°C to 80°C.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked 1250 DH 30mm. 1250 is the pitch length in tenths of an inch, DH is the profile, and the width is 30mm.
- If the marking has worn off, count the teeth on one side: this belt has 250.
- A double-sided belt has teeth on both faces. If yours is only toothed on one side, you need the single-sided H belt instead.
