Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

Banded V-Belts & Wedge Belts are sets of belts assembled together. Besides incorporating all of the features of standard belts, the belts are joined together to form a band gives the following additional features; no apping during abrupt load variations, no possibility of turning over and are ideal in high vibration applications. Part numbers are designated by letters standing for their cross-section, e.g. SPB followed by a number e.g. 2000 which speci es the belts pitch length, followed by e.g. /4 which speci es the number of bands.
