Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

Traditional V-Belts are manufactured with cross-sections Z, A, B, C & D sections with a range of over 500 lengths currently available.
V-Belts for industrial use are designated both to RMA standard e.g. A52, where the letter designates its cross-section and the number corresponds to a nominal internal length in inches and to DIN standard e.g. 13x1320Li, where the rst number denotes the width in mm, and the second number is the internal length in mm.
Dunlop V-belts have specially treated jackets to give superior anti-static, heat and oil-resistant properties and are static conductive to ISO1813.
