Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

1260-SLV14-85 Megadyne Silver Timing Belt
The Megadyne Silver 1260-SLV14-85 is a 14mm-pitch RPP timing belt with a 1260mm pitch length, 90 teeth and a width of 85mm. It runs on RPP and HTD 14M pulleys.
Megadyne Silver is the uprated RPP belt. The current version, Silver3, replaces Silver2: it has a fibre-loaded nitrile body, a higher-performance fibreglass cord and a self-lubricating, low-friction nylon tooth fabric, and Megadyne rates it at over 20% more power than Silver2. It runs from −25°C to +80°C (100°C peak) and is antistatic to ISO 9563. It’s a straight swap for Silver2, Silver and RPP belts on the same pulleys, so an existing drive can be uprated without changing pulleys.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked 1260-SLV14-85, or Silver2 / Silver3 with the same size. 1260 is the pitch length in mm and 85 the width in mm.
- If the marking has worn off, count the teeth: this belt has 90. Multiply by 14mm to get the pitch length.
