Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

The Bando Super Torque (STS) S2M-374-15 is an S2M timing belt with a 2mm pitch, a 374mm pitch length, 187 teeth and a width of 15mm.
Bando STS Super Torque Synchronous belts were developed for very high demands on power transmission, smooth running and positioning accuracy. The rounded STS tooth minimises the polygon effect and noise, and the belts run on standard S-profile (STD / STPD) pulleys.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked S2M-374-15 (or 374 S2M 15). 374 is the pitch length in mm and 15 the width in mm.
- If the marking has worn off, count the teeth: this belt has 187. Multiply by 2mm to get the pitch length.
- S-profile (STD) belts have a different tooth shape from HTD (M) belts and need S-profile pulleys.
