Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

The Bando HP-STS Super Torque HP-S8M-1520-50 is an S8M timing belt with a 8mm pitch, a 1520mm pitch length, 190 teeth and a width of 50mm.
Bando HP-STS is the high-power version of the Super Torque Synchronous belt, for drives that need more torque in the same width. It keeps the rounded STS tooth that minimises the polygon effect and noise, and runs on standard S-profile (STD / STPD) pulleys.

Check it’s the right belt
- The old belt should be marked HP-S8M-1520-50 (or 1520 S8M 50). 1520 is the pitch length in mm and 50 the width in mm.
- If the marking has worn off, count the teeth: this belt has 190. Multiply by 8mm to get the pitch length.
- S-profile (STD) belts have a different tooth shape from HTD (M) belts and need S-profile pulleys.
