Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

Price per metre. The price shown is for 1 metre of belting. Set the quantity to the number of metres you need, for example quantity 3 for 3 metres, and we’ll cut it as one continuous length. You’ll also need 13mm plate connectors to join the ends.
Optibelt Optimat OE open-ended V-belting, 13mm profile, green, pre-punched and sold by the metre. Cut it to the length you need and join the ends with Optimat connectors to make an endless V-belt, so one roll covers every centre distance without stocking a range of belt lengths. It runs in standard A / SPA section pulleys. Green Optimat is Optibelt’s standard version, rated up to +80°C, and suits most general drives.
Because the belting is already punched, no punching tools are needed to make a joint. The connectors are light, which keeps centrifugal forces down at high belt speeds for smooth, shock-free running. It’s ideal for maintenance stores, emergency repairs and drives where fitting an endless belt would mean stripping down the machine. Optibelt is our premier brand.

Questions
Red or green?
Red is rated to +100°C and green to +80°C. If the drive runs hot, or sits near an engine or heat source, choose red. See the red 13mm belting.
How much do I need?
Measure round the pulleys with a tape, or use the length of the old belt, and order that many metres, rounding up. Cut it to length on a punched hole, then fit the connector.
How many connectors do I need?
One connector per belt. Order one for every belt you plan to make up, plus a spare.
How quickly will it arrive?
