Measuring Your Belt
Measuring Your Belt
Check the markings first. Most belts have their size printed on the back, for example A24, SPZ1000 or 8PK1200. Type that code into the search bar to find the exact match.
Markings worn off? Measure across the top of the belt for the width, and its depth. For the length, wrap a piece of string round the belt, mark where it meets, then lay the string flat and measure it.
Timing or ribbed belt? Count the teeth or ribs, and measure the gap between them.

AVX13 x 975 Optibelt Truck Power Marathon 2 V-Belt
The Optibelt Truck Power Marathon 2 AVX13 x 975 is a V-belt for commercial vehicles. The Optibelt Truck Power range is built for driving the ancillary components of HGVs and buses: alternators, fans, water pumps and compressors. The EPDM rubber compound copes with high engine-bay temperatures, and the belts are precision ground, so matched sets can be fitted without measuring.
