It’s made by Megadyne, the Italian belt manufacturer, to the same section and length as the Gates belt.

Megadyne XDV2 belts are built for maintenance-free running in hard working conditions. The aramid cords absorb shock loads and keep the length constant, and the CR rubber body resists heat, oil and weather. They suit clutching drives and small pulleys, are static conductive, and work from −20 to +80°C.

Specification

Replaces

Gates 6760

Supplied as

Megadyne XDV2 XDV38/600

Section

3L (XDV38)

Top width

9.7mm

Height

5.6mm

Outside length

60″ (1524mm)

Inside length (approx.)

58.5″ (1486mm)

Construction

Aramid cord, CR rubber, wrapped

Questions

Is it a direct equivalent?
Yes.
